ARIES WorkBench
The AERO-Workbench© suite of applications enable an airline, service provider or systems integrator to quickly build and implement an airline coupon scanning and data capture solution, using either an IBML ImageTrac scanner or an industry standard TWAIN compliant scanner, with the minimum of development effort.
The AERO-Workbench© application suite has been created for high throughput and very high accuracy. It uses PSP-Aero technology, developed specifically to capture scan-line data from airline coupons and to validate it against IATA rules for maximum accuracy. The MXp-Aero and Fkey-Aero Xpress validation and correction modules were developed to allow rapid correction of any misread or absent characters while also minimising expensive transposition errors.
The toolkit consists of the three production applications and a test application. The test application enables the developer to load the SoftTrac database with test data and images, simulating the scanning processes. This can then be used for operator training and to test the revenue accounting system.
Most processes on the host revenue accounting system and many other airline applications can be seamlessly image enabled using the optional ARIES-IE toolkit.
