ARIES Airline Intelligence (AIP)
ARIES AIP, ‘Airline Intelligence Probe’, solutions and services address the rapidly changing needs of airlines operating in an increasingly competitive marketplace. There are four main AIP solutions to assist airline revenue and marketing personnel to predict airline performance and to protect against damaging revenue leakage.
The AIP solutions combine extensive PNR business intelligence technology with a ticket database for paper and e-ticket transactions and industry standard interfaces for electronic data from CRS, BSP and ATPCO sources.
The AIP application suite brings together an airline's operational data sources (reservations, ticketing, inventory, DCS) into a common repository (Operational Data Store), enabling a range of business objectives to be satisfied, for example:
- Developing modern, multi-channel marketing and distribution strategies.
- Getting the best out of both direct sales and travel agents.
- Minimising costs from revenue leakage.
- Identifying non-changeable and non-refundable bookings early in the revenue cycle to enable the revenue from these transactions to be moved to earned revenue as quickly as the airline's accounting standards allow.
- Understanding customers’ behaviour and value.
